Our Story

We are a family of five: Martin and Sophie, and our three children, Lorine, Nicole, and Casper.

It all started at our own kitchen table. Every weekend we would bake our own bread or buy a loaf from the local baker, and week after week, it broke our hearts to throw a piece of it away. Mouldy. Soggy. Dried out. Every single time.

We tried everything there was to try. Plastic bags, bread bins, linen cloths. Nothing really worked. That is, until we delved into old preservation traditions and discovered how generations before us kept their bread fresh for weeks, using nothing more than cotton and beeswax.

We tested. We refined. Sometimes, we failed. And eventually, we created the bag we had always wanted for ourselves.

No TPU. No chemical additives. No compromises.

Just pure materials, honestly made, for people who understand how much love goes into a good loaf of bread.

Lorine is named after our eldest daughter, who was the first to shout that it finally worked, with a mouth full of fresh bread, while her younger sister Noor stood impatiently beside her.

That is the moment we want to share with as many people as possible. 🍞

  • "Great product. I use it for sourdough and baguettes and it stays fresh for much longer than when I keep it in a normal bag. The quality feels premium and it's easy to clean."

  • "I always used plastic bags, but they often made my bread soggy. With this beeswax bread bag, the bread stays just right: not too dry and not too moist. Plus, the material feels really natural and sturdy."

  • "I bake a lot of sourdough bread and was always worried it would go hard quickly. Since using this bread bag, my bread stays fresh for much longer. The crust stays crispy and the inside soft. Truly a simple solution that works perfectly."
